Last weekend for Cal State Fair 2018!
The Cal State Fair has a lot going on this year! I mean A LOT!
I mean a liggity-lot! I mean a liggity-liggity-liggity-LOT! (sorry. LOL)
They've actually been adding more and more things to do each year and this has been their best year yet, in my opinion.
There's literally something to do there for all ages. The rides, the contests, the Silent Disco (put headphones on and jam out to what the various DJs are playin'...yes I said 'jam out'....Check it out this weekend!), the concerts, the food, the beverages! OY!
And, of course, you can't forget the food and the rides (yes I finally broke my, "I'm never getting on a ride at a Fair" ingrained thought and had some fun on the water log ride and others...the rides are very well put together, safe, etc.!)....yasssss!
James and I are "Fair fanatics," so we went several times this year to enjoy the fun.
Live in concert we saw several local bands, including a reaaally good Tina Turner tribute, a rockabilly band, old school bands - and on the main stage Con Funk Shun (the lead singer of which we had the pleasure of interviewing), Sugar Ray, a Queen tribute band, WAR, and tonight we're going to see more. (The Greg Kihn Band is on tap tonight). Check out some of our scenes from the Fair above.
If you haven't gone yet (or you're a Fair fanatic like us and want to go again!) you have one last weekend to do it up! Sunday is the last day of the 'big event' with UB40 closing it out performing on the Golden 1 Stage that night.
